Operating the SnapCab platform and taxi services requires that you have a taxi license, a taxi driver’s license, and that the vehicle used in taxi services is marked for use subject to a license.

    1. Set up a business and apply for a taxi license (new drivers)

      If you don’t have a business yet, the Suomi.fi service’s business start-up wizard is a great tool for starting a business. The service allows you to find out what an entrepreneur should do and know when starting a business. Based on the answers provided, the service creates a checklist of things to take care of.Before applying for a license, it is recommended to ensure that the company or company operating the business is registered in the Trade Register and the necessary Tax Administration registers.     2. Create SnapCab IDs (see video: https://www.snapcab.fi/en/drivers-guide)

      To start a SnapCab business, you need these four documents specified by the authorities:
      – Business ID
      – Taxi license
      – Taxi driver license
      Your vehicle must be registered for licensed traffic.

      When you log in to the SnapCab management website for the first time, you will need image files of these documents.
      You will also need a clear photo of yourself and the ability to identify yourself electronically.
      You will need the vehicle to be able to accept cash and card payments. For pre-paid rides, the customer receives a receipt for the transportation conveniently via email.

    3. Select SnapCab Pro and define your settings and drivers

      By choosing the Pro, you expand your potential customer base to include those who trust the fixed price offered by 02 Taksi, but want to pay for the transport only at the vehicle.

      In this case, you need the vehicle to be able to accept cash and card payments. For pre-paid rides, the customer will receive a receipt for the transport conveniently via email.

    4. Download the app

      to your phone by signing up, you activate your own personal ID for the SnapCab driver app. The app works on Android and IOS phones and you can find it in your own app store.After logging in to the app, you are ready to receive rides nationwide, at your prices and when you want.

Who can join as a driver?

Anyone with a valid taxi driver’s license can become a SnapCab driver.

The SnapCab entrepreneur will send you an invitation from the management interface, and you will fill in your own information. You will then receive your personal ID and you are ready to become a SnapCab driver. With the driver IDs, you can work for multiple SnapCab entrepreneurs if necessary.

What does SnapCab cost?

SnapCab’s pricing is based on a monthly fee (starting at €39.90 / month + VAT), which is based on the length of the contract. The service is paid for in the management interface in online banking, or by credit card. In addition to the monthly fee, we charge a 10% administration fee for rides arranged through the SnapCab platform. The administration fees and any credit card commissions are listed on the company’s administration page, from which they are paid monthly.

In which area does SnapCab operate?

02 Taxi provides transportation to consumers nationwide. As a SnapCab entrepreneur or driver, you can receive these transportations right where you are at any time.

When will the work be done?

The SnapCab app on your phone has a feature where you can choose whether you are working or off. So you decide when you work.

What kind of vehicle and what kind of equipment is required?

We require that the vehicle is registered for licensed transportation. In the management interface, you define the transport capacity of your vehicle. Please note, however, that the vehicle and your service level directly affect the ratings that the consumer gives you after the ride.

Can I terminate the contract?

You can terminate the agreement at the end of the contract period you have chosen, if you wish.
